Anybody knows how to model the towel in Rhino and render it in Keyshot, I’ve been trying my best with SubD tools in Rhino to get a realistic towel in the towel ring like the following, but it looks like I need more technics to make it looks realistic, any ideas about this?
Think it’s a great start actually. What I did when I needed to texture some pilot uniforms for FlightSim I played a lot with normal/bump maps of ‘wrinkles’.
They look for example like these: ArtStation - 100 4K Fabric Brushes -Tension & Compression Folds + Alpha VOL.01, hossein-hamidi which are actually ZBrush brushes but also in the packages as png so you could use them with 3DPaint.
From my experience just a few extra wrinkles/folds make it already much more realistic while it’s just done with a few ‘stamps’ with a brush.
